Film icon Robert Pattinson is the face of Dior’s new ‘Icons’ menswear range, featuring a campaign shot by fashion stalwart Alasdair McLellan, with Studio RM handling all facets of the colour grade and finish.
The short video - featuring art direction by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and styling from Ellie Grace Cumming - embodies the menswear line’s paired back, easy sophistication. McLellan’s camera captures a fresh-faced Pattinson in various tailored ensembles, with an emphasis on the garments’ rich neutral palette and expert craftsmanship.
The film’s grade, by Studio RM’s Jamie Noble - who has worked with McLellan for over seven years, on over 90+ projects - zeros in on this simple, structured luxury. The clip features bracing black-and-white montages, interspersed with deep blues tones and McLellan’s signature VHS fuzz.
Known for their attention to detail and high-end sensibility, Studio RM’s flame artists also assisted in achieving the short’s lustrous finish. This coincided with the studio’s recent flame hires including Richard Barnes (ETC, Smoke & Mirrors, Jam VFX), Miram Olaejo (No.8) and Junior Kofee Coley.
