Sid Lee Canada Appoints Martin Gauthier as CEO

Global creative agency Sid Lee is maximising its footprint in Canada as Martin Gauthier becomes the agency’s first ever CEO in the country. After more than a decade of close collaboration, Sid Lee’s 500 employees in Montreal and Toronto are coming together to form a single Canadian entity dedicated to pushing boundaries to create brand  experiences that matter to its clients and communities. 

As CEO of Sid Lee in Canada, Martin Gauthier will lead this new synergy. A pillar of the creative community for over 20 years, he has helped forge Sid Lee’s reputation and has been fully committed to the growth and influence of the agency. His forward-thinking media vision and love of the client experience have influenced Sid Lee throughout the years. He has helped brands such as Sobeys, Lowe’s, SAQ and Loto-Québec and has collaborated internationally on Samsung, adidas, The North Face and Cirque du Soleil.

Canadian growth 

Sid Lee has been on a roll across the country since the beginning of the year, adding new clients and nearly 150 new hires in the past year. The two Canadian shops have become creative allies for a number of national and international brands such as Unity Technology, Unilever and Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. These new alliances are in addition to Netflix Canada, Maple Leaf Foods, H&R Block, IGA/Sobeys, TJX Companies, Air Transat, Lowe’s Canada, Fuel Transport, Tennis Canada, Cheekbone Beauty, Belairdirect, Loto-Québec, the Canadian Cancer Society and others.
