Shiny Awards’ Winners Announced at 180 Amsterdam
A capacity audience turned out to watch the 18 short films, spec ads music videos, animations and comedies screened at the latest Shiny Awards, hosted by ad agency 180 Amsterdam.
As always with Shiny, 70% of the diverse shortlist was work by directors from under-represented backgrounds. The winners were chosen & announced at the event by James Southward, 180 Amsterdam, Anna Hashmi, The Corner Shop, Karen Andre, LS Productions, Carol Cooper, shots and Martin Goodwin, Nomad.

There was also an acknowledgement for Jo Roy’s ‘Corpus & The Wandering, which the director had to withdraw from the Awards at the last minute.
Caroline Bottomley from Shiny said, “...That was a lovely evening, it was great to get more recognition to up & coming directors some of them reporting that they were ‘literally crying’ about getting screened at 180 Amsterdam. Huge thanks to everyone involved…”
