The Awards are held 4 times a year, hosted by advertising agencies across London, mainland Europe and the USA.Every entry is judged by Shiny’s industry members. High scoring videos & director details are listed on Shiny’s website for industry members to access, and a selection of the best videos screen at the Awards. 

Directors from under-represented groups form the majority of selected videos. Shiny has an excellent track record in discovering new talent - hundreds of featured videos have gone on to sign to major production companies and win at bigger awards. Work ranges across short dramas, short docs, animation, fashion films, music videos, spec ads and branded content.
