She Runs It Recognises 20 Industry Stars as 2022 Working Mothers of the Year

For the 18th consecutive year, She Runs It is celebrating marketing, media and tech leaders who skilfully navigate the multiple demands of work and motherhood. In addition to 20 individual honourees, the organisation is also recognizing Moxie/MRY as the 2022 Best Company for Working Mothers.

“In our 18 years of evaluating submissions for working mothers of the year, we have been profoundly inspired by the nominees, who redefine the concept of multitasking every day. We have also gained valuable insight into corporate practices and programs, many of them initiated by the women who are nominated,” said Lynn Branigan, president and CEO of She Runs It. “The awards event is as educational as it is inspirational because all of the honourees share their strategies and approaches for managing the demands of two full-time roles.”

The Working Mothers of the Year Awards is divided into three categories:

New-to-Motherhood honourees have children who are six years or younger and are recognized for developing innovative approaches to manage the 24/7 demands of infants, toddlers, clients, and colleagues. The New-to-Motherhood winners are:

• Tiffany Guarnaccia, founder and CEO, Kite Hill PR

Established Moms have an oldest child between the ages of seven and 17. These women thrive on their busy lives and have positively impacted other working mothers with their skills at achieving work-life balance. The Established Mom winners are:

• Elicia Azali, CMO, American Family Insurance
• Lisa Bull, vice president integrated marketing velocity, ViacomCBS
• Nancy Croston, SVP, Ad sales strategy, entertainment brand partnerships, Fox
• Neena Koyen, global chief communications officer, UM
• Amy Leung, SVP, head of digital marketing, TD Bank
• Allison McEntee, senior director, advertising sales, BDG
• Lena Petersen, chief brand officer, MediaLink
• Allison Silver, vice president, global brand advertising, American Express
• Michelle Tang, CMO, Digitas

Trailblazer Moms are categorised as pioneers of working motherhood. They began combining work and family at least 18 years ago and have held leadership positions while raising their children. The Trailblazer winners are:

• Laura Dames, EVP, ad sales marketing, Warner Media
• Karen Kovacs, EVP client partnerships, NBC Universal
• Kadian Langlais, CMO, Renfro Brands
• Stephanie Lawrence, head of advertising agency development, Nextdoor
• Laurel Rossi, CMO, True[X]
• Geraldine White, chief diversity officer, Publicis Groupe US

The 2022 Best Company for Working Mothers is Moxie/MRY, which was selected for activating policies and practices to create a supportive environment for mothers who want to excel as parents and as corporate and community leaders. In addition to offering robust support groups and parent-friendly benefits, during the pandemic Moxie/MRY launched Publicis Schooling – a platform that allowed employees to volunteer to teach a 30-minute class on a topic of their choosing, and which were offered to parents who wanted to enrol their kids.
