In the latest Vogue digital cover and video, Sarah Jessica Parker pens a love letter to NYC, complete with all the nostalgic trappings of ‘Sex and the City’ upon its 25th anniversary and the launch of Season 2 of ‘And Just Like That.’ The video, directed by Bardia Zeinali and cut by Modern Post editor Will Town, imagines a ‘Sex and the City’ column come to life, with colorful vignettes that speaks to the fiercely loved franchise and celebrate the show, the star, the fashion and the city of New York at the center of it all. Sarah Jessica Parker says, “Hello You” to the many versions of ‘you’ in NYC, with dazzling fashions and personalities of the NYC that audiences fell in love with and aspired to in the franchise, complete with charming sidewalk stumbles, bodega pit stops, dating drama, and of course--outrageous couture.
The video launches with the Vogue 2023 Digital Summer spread, filled with celebrated archival fashions from the franchise, serves as an ongoing collaboration between Zeinali and Town, having worked on numerous Vogue videos, including multiple Met Gala activations as well as work for clients such as Calvin Klein, Nike and MAC.
