As head of layout, Benoit aims to reinforce his department as the backbone of the VFX pipeline, optimising technical aspects and streamlining processes to grant more creative, cinematography tasks to artists.

His global journey then took him to New-Zealand, London and Vancouver, working on James Cameron’s Avatar, Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One and Alfonso Cuarón Gravity.
His leadership philosophy centres on efficiency and balance—ensuring creative teams have the space they need while maintaining structure and discipline. His goal is to build a versatile team capable of handling multiple animation task from feature to animation to previsualisation.
“Rodeo’s work has always been impeccable, but for me, what really stands out is the level of talent. I see a relationship between Creative and Production like I’ve rarely seen before, where everything is efficient and everybody is focusing on delivering the best images possible.”
These appointments mark an exciting chapter for Rodeo FX as it continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling. The studio was recently nominated at the 2025 VES Awards for their work on The Rings of Power Season 2, Expats and HBO’s Dune: Prophecy.
