Rattling Stick and Rattling Stuff Sign New Directors

As part of Rattling Stick’s recent expansion, two additional directors have joined as the first to be signed to both the Rattling Stick and Rattling Stuff rosters simultaneously. First is the impressively accomplished young Scottish director Michael J Ferns. Michael won his first Scottish BAFTA at just 16 years old, then two Children’s BAFTA nominations for both of his BBC mini- series’ and then several other notable awards and directing credits since.

His emotive filmmaking and enthusiasm for human connection has accumulated an impressive following from his fellow creatives and on social media. He now shoots extensively, directing commercials, broadcast TV and short films; focusing on strong cinematic visuals and engaging character performances.

Speaking of his exciting new representation, Michael declares himself as “Incredibly excited and honoured to be joining the roster of such a prestigious company who have produced some of my favourite commercials of all time.”

Rattling Stick and Rattling Stuff also welcome exciting new Swedish director Cristine Berglund for her first ever UK representation. After moving to London to train at RADA and then working in all departments of the film industry; as an actor, assistant director, even a story editor for reality TV, Cristine started directing. For the past five years Cristine has been in her element making films for many International household brands including Volvo, IKEA, Motorola and Absolut Vodka.

Cristine’s sophisticated visuals and modern approach to technical challenges, as well as her playful character, make both her reel and attitude to work with absolute joy.

On joining the impressive rosters at Rattling Stick Cristine says that she is “THRILLED to become part of this incredible company and to work in the UK, a place which feels like my second home and inspires me creatively.”
