Radical Friend Directs Teaser for New Netflix Series ‘Elite’

Radical Friend has directed the tantalising teaser for Netflix’s newest series Elite. Set in Spain it follows a group of teenagers who attend an elite private school.

The trailer is cinematic and alluring, and explores a world of excess for the overprivileged.

Radical Friend said of the teaser:

“The idea was to create a short film that could capture the tension and deceit of the show and its main characters in two and a half minutes. I wanted to get a sense of the darkness and mystery that goes down between these kids just by journeying through the corridors of one debaucherous party. It gets more and more surreal and unnerving as you go deeper - with sound design, colour and camera movements becoming more exaggerated - eventually landing on this mysterious murder at the end. We orchestrated it so that every prop or glance between characters alluded to a certain scene or storyline from the show.”
