Independent creative agency Quality Meats has welcomed Jonathan King as head of growth.

The newly created role comes at a time of unprecedented growth for the agency. Founded four years ago with only a handful of humans, Quality Meats has expanded to over 20 full-time employees with an impressive client roster of well-known brands such as Kimberly-Clark brands Huggies and U by Kotex; Biore; SAXX Underwear; and DoorDash.

King, who is based in Chicago, will work with QM’s borderless team across the US, overseeing all aspects of agency growth including pitch management, strategy, and execution; agency prospecting; partnership expansion for current brand partners; and agency marketing and PR. He will report to managing director Amy Edwards.
                                  
“Jonathan brings the exact chops (meat pun semi-intended) we need to help us get to the next phase of our growth as a young agency,” said Edwards. “He built his career in account management working hand-in-hand with some of the best brands on the planet, giving him a solid foundation for growth, which he’s mastered at shops like Havas. But really what sets Jonathan apart is his spirit. He’s a true entrepreneur at heart and also just a juggernaut.”

A seasoned marketer with well over a decade of ad industry experience, King comes to Quality Meats from Havas Chicago, where he most recently served as EVP head of growth. Throughout his career, King has built some of the most iconic brands in the world – from Kraft Heinz to Molson Coors to Capital One – racking up accolades along the way including Cannes Lions, Effies, Clios, and more. Prior to Havas, King led teams within the account management and growth functions at VMLY&R, DDB, and Deutsch.
