Pulse Films has announced it will partner with media industry veteran Patrick Vien as he assumes the newly created global role of President, further bolstering the senior team of the high-growth, modern-day studio.
Patrick’s broad media experience in the US and internationally makes him well placed to further Pulse’s global growth into non-scripted television and channel creation, in addition to its other core business sectors: branded entertainment, film and commercials.
With over 25 years in the television, music and digital sectors, Vien previously held top-level positions at NBC Universal (President, Global TV Networks) where he oversaw a wide portfolio of TV channel brands across over 30 countries, and Chairman and CEO Warner Music International (WMI) where he was responsible for overseeing the management and transformation of WMI’s 50 labels. Alongside these prestigious roles, Vien as an ‘Entrepreneurial Executive’ launched and ran two US cable network start-ups. Most recently, Vien held the position of President and COO at Bankable Enterprises, overseeing all commercial activities for Tyra Banks.
Patrick is joining Pulse in the midst of a rapid growth phase. He will provide strong leadership in the expansion of their TV businesses in the UK and US and the planned launch of online channels. He will be working in partnership with Thomas Benski, CEO, who will continue to focus on the creative and strategic growth of the business.

Based in the New York office but with a global outreach, Vien will report to global CEO Thomas Benski.
