Publicis Groupe Canada Appoints Christine Saunders as Chief Marketing Officer

Publicis Groupe Canada has announced Christine Saunders as chief marketing officer (CMO) for Publicis Groupe Canada. In this newly created position, Christine will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the Groupe’s growth efforts. 

As Publicis Groupe expands its areas of expertise in Canada, it has become clear that a streamlined and strategic approach to leveraging such capabilities will better serve existing and prospective clients alike. Christine’s position as CMO will enable her and the growth team to look across the Groupe, in Canada and abroad, and assemble tailor-made teams, designed to address the unique requirements of their clients and the industries in which they compete.

Christine Saunders, who remains at the helm of Starcom Canada, has been with the agency for over 15 years and was named CEO in 2021. Under her leadership, Starcom’s growth has outpaced the market, leading Starcom to be named Canadian Media Agency of the year in 2022.
