Lancôme and Publicis 133 reinvent the Chinese New Year in an animated film designed for the Chinese and International market.
Produced by weareflink for Publicis 133, this poetic film showcases French luxury and the beauty of Paris through the use of the ancient technique of Chinese paper cutting, Jianzhi.
The result is a film, produced entirely in 3D, ethereal and elegant, that subtly marries the fragility and the poetry of an animated book, presenting a Paris dreamed through perforated paper.
All the magic of the Chinese New Year is celebrated through a stroll between the Eiffel Tower, the sumptuous Haussmann avenues and the majestic interiors of a mansion.
