PromoVeritas celebrates four new hires!

February may have been a short month but it’s definitely been a busy one for PromoVeritas in terms of recruiting. We have added four new members of staff to the 8 that have already joined in the past few months So, we thought we’d take this opportunity to introduce you to some of our new faces;

Daniel Lewis, Financial Controller

Daniel‘s role is to balance financial efficiency with actionable business insight, and he has over 15 years of financial experience in the education, travel & tourism sectors. At PromoVeritas, Daniel will ensure that all the basic accounting functions work well and to enhance our business reporting functions.

Jimmy Ward, Information Security Manager

At PromoVeritas we have a ton of data, from entrants and campaigns, and Jimmy’s in-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 and data protection law and best practice will keep us ahead of the game. His years of experience in internal auditing, ISMS management, and data protection compliance will be of great use as we seek to ensure that security is at the heart of all that we do. Ambitious and passionate about information security, Jimmy is a qualified SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) and is working towards his CISSP qualification.

Petra Green, In-House Lawyer

Petra qualified as a lawyer in South Africa in 2007 and has since worked in both private practice and in the Corporate world. She has extensive litigation experience as well as experience in drafting various contracts and agreements. At PromoVeritas, Petra strengthens our successful in house legal team, and will focus on drafting commercial and all manner of contracts for our clients as well as advising on trademark, copyright, and licensing.

Sammy Abukmeil, Senior PHP Developer

Sammy joins our growing Digital Team with over 7 years’ experience working as a web developer in agencies as well as in-house, specialising mainly in PHP, MySQL, AWS, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript. We are now able to rapidly create a wide range of secure, attractive and technologically solid websites for all types of client campaigns – all backed up by a quality ISO27011 database platform for enhanced security and peace of mind.
