Manchester headquartered Now You’re Talking, part of the TLC: Talk, Listen, Change group, operates as a profit-for-purpose organisation. This means that profit generated is donated to the TLC charity to help them to continue their work of championing community wellbeing through services that offer support for domestic abuse, mental health, mediation and separation.
IF. were briefed to develop the name, logo and brand identity for the new subsidiary. The name itself was crucial to the project. It needed to embody taking immediate action, as we know this itself is the first positive step in healing. The brand communicates positive change and healing. It’s a gentle call to action which draws on the power of doing something.
For IF. creative director Jo Whiteley this was a dream project, "This for me was a do good, feel good brief. Creating a brand ‘environment’ where everyone feels relaxed and empowered to feel better led the conceptual thinking. Nothing was accidental: the name, speech bubble and cursive type; all gender neutral and beautifully crafted to encourage open conversation in a safe space. The soft earthy tones, rounded edges and authentic photography draw on the natural world representing the balance gained from talking."
Michelle Hill, CEO Now You’re Talking added, "We’re so excited to launch Now You’re Talking. We instantly liked the name and what it stood for and are delighted with how the brand identity has come to life across all the launch platforms. We feel it strikes a nice balance between accessibility and calm and hope it resonates well with our target audience"
