Independent Performance Media agency, ROAST announces the hire of Phil Burgess as managing partner. The appointment marks a management restructure, with two additional Managing Partners named.
Phil was previously VP, client partner at Essence, where he led integrated media accounts such as L’Oreal and ITV. Prior to that he was managing director of digital agency 360i Europe, before becoming chief growth officer at iCrossing.
ROAST’s latest hire, Phil, alongside Lynsey Rollinson and John Barham will be joint managing partners. Phil will focus on client services, Lynsey will lead the integrated media department across OOH, Print, Audio and TV, while John remains focused on performance media.
The reshuffle puts continued emphasis on the agency’s integrated services. ROAST diversified its offering at the start of 2023 with the hire of Lynsey, after she joined from McCann. Over her career, Lynsey has led a wealth of media accounts including Visa, TUI, Post Office, Eurostar, LV= and Save the Children.
Prior to the reshuffle, Lynsey was head of planning at ROAST, with John as managing director. John has been at the agency for nine years, since he joined from 360i in 2015.

Next year will mark the 10th anniversary for ROAST. Over the past six months the agency has continued to grow rapidly, with global client wins including WEX, Laundryheap, HyperJar, World Courier, Bitstamp, PitchBook and many more.
