Musical spot from Publicis and Megaforce says Orange France will help you forget your Xmas fails
Christmas comes with wave of excitement and enthusiasm each year. Each of us aim to make the most beautiful and perfect Christmas.
Let's be honest, as perfect as we'd like Xmas to be, it's often far from it. All the organising can feel like a marathon, a party where traditions must be observed, where opportunities for failure increase and put us all under pressure. Getting your car stuck in the snow, poor food preparation, fighting through packed shops, navigating sensitive topics with the family… the real Xmas!
Thanks to an accurate understanding of the French experience at Xmas, Orange invites us to rediscover what's the most wonderful time at Xmas in its new campaign: Xmas gift moments which help you forget all the fails.
Conceived by Publicis Conseil and produced by MEGAFORCE, ‘Wonderful Christmas’ by Orange launched on November 15th. In musical spirit, the movie portrays various people in the midst of Xmas fails, struggling to sing along in unison with the Andy Williams classic, "It's the most wonderful time of the year" with an ironic touch.
However, when at the end we see them unwrap their gifts in a frenzy, everything seems to be forgotten and you are invited to find what is the most wonderful part of Xmas, thanks to Orange's gift.
The campaign will be released on TV, cinema, billboards and newspapers, digital and social media, and on all brand media communication, in stores and train stations.
The brand has also set up of a special Orange vending machine in train stations, to make sure people have something to offer, even at the last minute.
