One Green Bean has hired Nick Hearne as its new creative director. Hearne joins from creative agency, Gravity Road, where he worked as creative director across several clients, including Sainsbury’s, Visit Britain, Hotel Chocolat and Niantic.
He also previously held positions of global creative director at Spark44, creative head at We Are Social, and has won hundreds of awards for his work, including ‘PR Campaign of the Decade’.
At OGB, Nick will report to Kat Thomas, Founder & Global ECD, and oversee all creative output across the agency’s roster of clients.
Commenting on the appointment, Kat Thomas, said: “We’re delighted to welcome creative superstar Nick to the team. I’ve been a big admirer of his work for a long time, and we’re thrilled that he’s chosen to join us. Nick is a rare gem - someone who can develop award winning earned-first ideas with the highest level of both technical craft and cultural relevance. We love his energy and ambition. Also, he’s the front man of a heavy metal band for kids. No agency is complete without that!”
Commenting on joining OGB, Hearne added: “After years of enviously watching One Green Bean’s inspiring output, I’m honoured to be welcomed into this thriving team. We’ll continue to push for creative excellence across media and culture and have a lot of fun along the way. I’ll be bringing my eye for unexpected creative opportunities, talkability, tech platform expertise and sense of play to everything we do. All the conditions are right to make this a creatively ambitious year at OGB.”
OGB, a full-service creative communications agency, now has more than 150 people in hubs across London, Sydney, Amsterdam, and the Middle East, with 60% of its client work being globally integrated work that draws on all four divisions of the full-service creative communications agency’s offer, including PR, Social, Influencer and Content.
