Cannes Lions has named Octagon APAC executive creative director Lizi Hamer as a juror for the 2022 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Lizi will serve as a member of the Entertainment Lions for Sport jury, joining a host of senior executives from major sports properties and brands, including AB InBev, the Kansas City Chiefs, Red Bull, and more, to assess and determine the best of the best creative work across the sports world in 2021.
A renowned leader in the creative space across sports and entertainment, Hamer has helped Octagon’s creative team earn global acclaim through the development of a collection of award-winning campaigns throughout her career, including Cannes Lions, Webby Awards, Drum Marketing, Spikes Asia, BEFest, the Shorty Awards, and a bevy of others.
Lizi, who also serves a creative director for No2ndPlace, has also received major personal accolades for her creative prowess over the years, including being named as one of The Drum’s 'World’s Most Creative Women,' Cannes Lions 'Top-15 Female Creative Directors Globally,' Campaign’s 'Women Leading Change,' and being recognised by Campaign as one of the “Top 20 Women to Watch in Asia.”
Octagon chief client officer and No2ndPlace managing director Ben Hartman previously served as jury president for Cannes Lions Entertainment for Sport in both 2020 and 2021.
