Camilla will oversee growth and strategic development of Octagon’s Motorsports Offering

Octagon has announced the appointment of Camilla Hessey as head of motorsports for Octagon Europe. Based in the agency’s London office, Camilla will be responsible for the creation, development, and execution of sponsorships, marketing strategies, and campaigns for Octagon’s clients across motorsports. She will also work to guide brands operating within, or seeking entry into the motorsports industry, ensuring strategic commercial growth and impactful market positioning. Camilla will report to Jeff Meeson, managing director of Europe.

An industry-veteran with more than two decades of experience leading brands across motorsports, Camilla will be charged with guiding Octagon’s world-class roster of clients through the evolving world of racing, including F1, MotoGP, NASCAR, WRC, Formula E, Supercars, and more.

Prior to joining Octagon, Camilla spent seven years leading client services and operations for Velocity Experience, overseeing the agency’s business growth, brand strategy and experiences, as well as partnership consultancy with clients including Bacardi, Hard Rock, and Puma. Previously, she served as sponsorship director of F1 for Heineken, as well as managing commercial partnerships for F1 Teams Red Bull Racing and Williams F1.

Throughout the agency’s 40-plus year history, Octagon has made a notable impact in motorsports, guiding the expansion of brands and properties across the industry, including Shell’s longstanding work with Ferrari F1, Mastercard’s innovative new partnership with McLaren F1, as well as connecting numerous clients with prominent teams throughout NASCAR, IndyCar, and more. Additionally, the agency represents some of the most high-profile drivers, team owners, broadcasters, and personalities in racing.
