Nusara Chinnaphasaen Joins Lee Ramsay to Complete Head of Strategy Line Up at McCann London

Nusara joins from Wieden + Kennedy in Amsterdam

McCann London has appointed Nusara Chinnaphasaen to join Lee Ramsay as joint head of strategy. Nusara, who joins from Wieden + Kennedy in Amsterdam, will partner Ramsay, who was elevated to the role last year. The pair will work alongside Chief Strategy Officer, Theo Izzard-Brown.

Nusara, has a career spanning over 20 years, working across a portfolio of blue-chip global companies including P&G, Uber, Google, Airbnb, Visa. Born in Bangkok, Nusara is a proud Thai, and her career has been guided by a passion for creativity and diverse global cultures, working in five countries across three continents including roles at Saatchi & Saatchi London and Cramer-Krasselt New York.

Lee, joined McCann London in 2020 from Wieden + Kennedy London, where he led the comms planning practice for brands such as Nike, Sainsburys & Formula 1. Lee’s 20+ years strategic career started media side at McCann’s partner media agency, UM, and continued working in strategy across creative, media, content publishing and comms. 

Lee commented: “It’s been noted by many I’m sure - but the job of a planner is changing rapidly. Planners must be comfortable with anything from a client’s data strategy to its dynamic creative ambitions - this means we must continue to build a team accordingly. Nusara and I share this passion, and I’m excited to partner with her on this journey”.
