Mother Selects New Director Winners at April's Shiny Awards

Emma Davenport, head of integrated production Mother London, Carlos Perez, editor at Daughter/ Mother New York, and Pilar Peace, creative director Mother LA were the judges of the best new work from freelance directors worldwide.

‘…It was a great event…’ says Caroline Bottomley, Shiny Awards director, ‘…There was so much feedback for the directors from audience and judges alike, I think they felt very loved!’

Winners videos range across rare insights to surrogacy, fantastical depiction of abusive parenting and loss, a forgiving bear sells mattresses, moving portraits of life on the land, and uber-cool stylish pop.

As usual they include Vimeo Staff Picks and videos that have barely been seen yet.

Our monthly awards are judged by leading commissioners from the world's best ad agencies. 

The next Shiny Awards are on 30th June and are for all new directors, whether freelance or recently signed. Shiny are delighted that creatives & producers from Lucky General's New York and London offices will be the Awards judges.
