New York City-based creative editing and post-production studio Modern Post teamed up with director TORSO and creative production company DIVISION to edit a dynamic launch video for the house of Mugler and H&M’s new collection designed by Mugler creative director Casey Cadwallader. The daring spot showcases a trio of models recording their cover of Stardust's 1996 hit “Music Sounds Better With You.” Featuring a diverse range of fashion icons the spot entices its viewers with its deliriously upbeat tone that accurately echoes the release of the stark and sexy Mugler H&M collaboration. The spot was edited by William Town, Morden Post creative editor/partner.
The archive revival part of the collection is a tribute to Thierry Mugler’s greatest hits from the '80s and '90s. Each style curated by Casey Cadwallader, arrives with its own special label, featuring Thierry Mugler’s signature embodying the founder’s legacy. The Mugler H&M collection will be available at hm.com and in selected stores on May 11th.
Modern Post was able to bring a unique lens to the launch video for this highly anticipated collaboration, having collaborated with TORSO numerous times, as well as both Mugler and H&M on a wide variety of campaigns over the past several years.
