Modern Post Adds Colourist Taylor Schafer

Bicoastal creative post-production studio Modern Post has added colourist Taylor Schafer to its robust roster of creative talent. Bringing almost a decade of experience in the post-production industry, Taylor's journey includes roles as an assistant editor at AMC Networks and as both an assistant editor and colourist at Uppercut. Notably, she pioneered and expanded the colour department, becoming the company's first colourist. Schafer's impressive portfolio includes collaborations with top brands such as Volvo, Meta, Verizon, MLB, Oscar de la Renta, Dockers, and Victoria's Secret.

Schafer started her career attending film school at NYU where she fell in love with post-production. Drawn to the art of editing and colour, she landed her first internship at AMC networks where she quickly rose to a digital video assistant editor and on air promotions assistant editor. Schafer joined Uppercut in 2018 starting off as an assistant editor, and stayed for over four years where she eventually spearheaded and developed their colourist department acting at their first colourist. Since joining Modern Post, she has worked on projects for Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Victoria's Secret, and more.
