AIRBAG has acquired Boffswana from Method Studios.
AIRBAG executive producer and managing director Robert Stock, who founded Boffswana in 2008, says Boffswana’s legacy and IP has a new home at AIRBAG.
"We achieved a lot at Boffswana in a relatively short period of time," he said. "International awards and many world firsts including AR and emotion tracking installations for global clients such as Honda, General Mills, Warner Bros and Sony Music.”
“Everything we did at Boffswana - our approach, our vision, our skills, our IP and our thinking - was effectively already happening in the very strong tech offering at Airbag, with its achievements in experiential installations, apps, proprietary technology and product development.”
AIRBAG most recently completed the Identities Experiential Installation at the National Gallery of Victoria’s Gaultier Exhibition for La Trobe University via JWT Melbourne, which follows on from bringing ‘Dumb Ways To Die’ to life in a public interactive Installation for McCann.
AIRBAG’s new product development for the sport of Surfing for Oakley via VICE has garnered international attention.
