Fast growing independent agency DNA has hired Megan Meagher in the new role of managing director. She joins DNA after working on the client side, most recently as director of integrated marketing at outdoor retailer Backcountry, and before that, at REI.
In her new role at DNA, Megan will be responsible for agency growth and overseeing DNA’s account management and business development departments, previously led by agency CEO Chris Witherspoon. She will also be part of the agency’s leadership team and take on some operational duties.
“Megan brings a fantastic mix of client and agency experience with a proven ability to guide integrated teams from strategy to execution across large-scale brand, campaign, and innovation initiatives,” said Chris Witherspoon, CEO of DNA. “We conducted an extensive search for this role and are excited to have Megan join us at such a critical time in our growth as an agency.”
Megan brings 20 years of agency and client-side experience to DNA, having helped build brands such as Amazon, Nike, Alaska Airlines, and Rainier Beer. Megan recently led integrated marketing teams at Backcountry and REI and also brings significant agency experience, having worked as Managing Director at creative agency Little Hands of Stone and in senior roles at WongDoody,
