We’re in Cannes for our annual clubhouse the LBB & Friends Beach. It feels like we’re welcoming people to our home, as we’ve put this event on since 2010.

Q> Who are you hoping to meet on LBB Beach? Individuals and/or company roles, companies, or anyone else?
We’re always keen to meet up with as many LBB members and Immortal Awards jurors. Cannes Lions is the best place to see so many colleagues, contacts and clients in one place.
Q> Are you hosting any events on LBB Beach, or elsewhere in Cannes during the week?

Q> What are you most looking forward to about Cannes in 2024?
We spend a year planning our event, and the last month leading up to the LBB & Friends Beach is very full on and intense, so just getting there and getting underway and welcoming all our guests is wonderful.
Q> What do you think will be the hottest topics this year on the Croisette?
Everyone wants to talk about AI on the LBB & Friends Beach and we have two panels dedicated to the topic. A lot of our guests have said they are looking forward to the panel ‘Why So Serious? The Key to Comedy’ on Thursday at 4pm. The ‘Ad Astra in the Age of AI’ panel on Thursday at 1:00 promises to be a big draw. Do not miss ‘Leaders Of The New School: How the Next Gen of Agency Leaders is Changing The Game’ on Friday at 1:00. This is open to anyone who will be in Cannes and you can register here.
Q> What are your top tips for newbies going to Cannes, the Lions, and the LBB Beach for the first time?
Register as a delegate of the Cannes Lions and see what it’s all about! Take the bus from the airport. It’s really relaxing and will save you a fortune. Don’t bother with the Gutter Bar. That’s not where business is done or where valuable contact are made. Pace yourself.
Q> Do you have any restaurant or bar recommendations in Cannes you’d like to share?
Da Laura, Al Charq (restaurant and takeaway), Le Jade, Rosana, Pizza Cresci, the two markets: Forville and Gambetta.
Q> What is your favourite non-work activity in Cannes? (could be cultural, sporting, shopping, seaside or anything you like)
The walk up to La Croix des Gardes for great views across the Mediterranean. We do it every year before the madness begins.
Q> Lastly, what is your packing essential for the week at Cannes Lions?
A portable power pack and a power strip with one adaptor for all your chargeables.
