MEC, a leading media agency, has made two senior appointments within the agency’s Organic Performance division with the additions of Simon Jones as Campaign Director and Jowita Blak as Director.
Simon will oversee the Organic Performance campaign team and activate strategies for some of the agency’s largest accounts. He will head up the development of the team and will be responsible for product innovation, campaign development and execution, including driving MEC’s proprietary Content Navigator product which uses client and market insight to develop compelling and highly shareable content campaigns.
Formerly SEO Manager at Think Money Group, Simon brings with him over seven years of experience in planning and deploying link-building, PR and content-driven SEO campaigns. In his previous role he was responsible for the planning and management of SEO, content and PR operations across the group’s websites, as well as managing offshore web development and SEO teams based in Chennai and Bangalore. Simon has also held management roles at Version One & COA Solutions, Handbags et Al and Orbit Partnership Ltd, where he managed teams providing a wide range of online marketing services.

Additionally, Jowita arrives at MEC from Netbooster UK where she led cross-channel strategy development and implementation for the organisation’s premium accounts. Jowita joins MEC with a wealth of experience working across global markets in digital marketing, social media and PR. Jowita has also previously worked at The Search Works/TradeDoubler and iProspect. In her new role Jowita will drive the integrated organic search strategy as part of the London team.
