Matt Hassell has resigned his position as CCO at Forsman & Bodenfors in order to launch an independent agency, Ultralight Creative. This new company will focus on helping clients be the most creative, unique and innovative versions of themselves.
Ultralight will offer consultation and creative services for brand, social and digital advertising, as well as web3 and Metaverse Marketing. “Our goal is to be a modern full-service agency.”
“I’m building Ultralight to meet clients where they are and get them to where they want to be, whether they need a new campaign, a rebrand, to try a new, strategic or creative approach, or to venture into new platforms or media. Brands work very hard to differentiate themselves from their competition, so it follows that they should expect and deserve a bespoke solution.”
Matt has twenty-two years of experience as a digital and brand creative, including eleven years as a CD and CCO. He sees this experience and his natural drive to innovate as something the agency will come to embody.
More recently, Matt graduated as a part of the inaugural class at Everyrealm Academy, which provided a deep dive into web3 and the metaverse. “The technology was impressive, but it is the creative drive that so many people in that space have that is truly inspiring. The builders, designers and entrepreneurs have an infectious energy that I believe a lot of brands can benefit from.”
The ‘Ultralight’ name was inspired by the feeling you get when a problem is solved or a new idea is born - “I think the process of creative problem solving can feel heavy at times and I feel the best ideas always take that weight off of you.”
