MassiveMusic is incredibly excited to announce its official move to the A’DAM Toren, Amsterdam’s highly anticipated creative hub. The company is the first to take residency in the city’s new landmark.
The international music agency has moved its headquarters into the heady-heights of A’DAM’s 15th floor, where it will continue to sprinkle its melodic magic on brands across the world.
Founder of MassiveMusic, Hans Brouwer, is one of A’DAM’s three founding partners, alongside EDM and music festival pioneers Sander Groet and Duncan Stutterheim. The entrepreneurial trio will be bringing their musical expertise, and employees, to the tower – re-housing their respective companies in the brand new beating pulse of Amsterdam.
Hans Brouwer comments: “The whole concept for A’DAM was to create a new home for music and creativity in Amsterdam, so it’s a huge honour for MassiveMusic to be the first tenant. The building will make a positive impact on Amsterdam’s creative industries, bringing like-minded companies together to continue pushing the boundaries of creativity and music. The move marks the start of a new era for Massive and it’s one that we’re all incredibly excited about.”
A’DAM, a well-known abbreviation for Amsterdam which coincidentally also stands for ‘Amsterdam Dance and Music’, is the new name for the renovated Toren Overhoeks, previously the home of multinational oil company Royal Dutch Shell.
Situated on the north bank of the Dutch capital’s waterfront, the 22-storey tower is now home to a cluster of the city’s most creative companies. Alongside MassiveMusic are Gibson, 22tracks, WINK, Monumental, SFX and ID&T.
The building has been designed to meet the city’s work-life balance; there’s plenty of opportunity to play in the tower’s bars, restaurants, hotel, club and gym. You can literally eat, work, rave, sleep, repeat.
Whether it’s the revolving restaurant Moon, the breath-taking 360° observation deck LOOKOUT, the panorama bar and restaurant Madam, or the city’s member’s club A’DAM&Co., the multifunctional tower is the new home of collaboration and creation.
