Saatchi & Saatchi London teams up with director India Sleem and Object & Animal for Marie Curie’s latest campaign.
The advert is being aired on a range of TV and radio channels during November and December 2021.
The ad is supporting the message that Marie Curie is here to listen and help with some of the harder questions in life – the ones about terminal illness, dying and bereavement.
The advert features a collection of people at different stages of life, asking the kind of light-hearted but urgent questions that may feel familiar and important to many of us. It ends with one man asking one of the hardest questions of all: "How will I tell my children I haven't got long to live?"
The charity wants to let people know that Marie Curie are here to listen and help, particularly at the turn of the year, which can be a difficult time for people.
Marie Curie hope the campaign will help more people contact its free Support Line and use our online information and support resources to get the support they need. Marie Curie’s research also shows that a third of people in the UK are unfamiliar with normal terms associated with care for dying people, leaving them without vital support as they're unaware of what to ask for.
The people who appear in the advert are all actors. However, the voice you hear on the end of the phone at the end is that of Marie Curie Support Line Officer, Brigette.
