Marianne to oversee business development efforts across Octagon’s brand marketing, consulting, and creative divisions

Octagon today announced the elevation of Marianne Rotole to chief growth officer of Marketing in North America. Marianne will continue to report directly to Lou Kovacs, president of Marketing, North America.

In the expanded role, Marianne will drive new business and development efforts across the agency’s brand marketing, consulting, and creative divisions throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. Previously, Marianne served as executive vice president, client services, for Octagon, overseeing the successful development and execution of key sponsorships and programs for some of the agency’s biggest clients, including Bank of America, GEICO, General Mills, Taco Bell, The Home Depot, and many more.

“Marianne has been an instrumental figure in Octagon’s efforts across North America and beyond for nearly two decades, leading our team members and working alongside our clients as we strive to take them to new levels of consumer engagement and marketing success each day,” said Lou. “Her wealth of experience and remarkable relationships across sports and entertainment make her the ideal executive to continue to grow our tremendous client base and create new business opportunities with brands, leagues, teams, and many others.”

Prior to joining Octagon, Marianne led marketing and communications efforts for a variety of major industry brands and properties, including as director of marketing and communications for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and eight years in Public Relations and Communications for the Chicago Bulls.
