Abi joined the business in 2017 as a senior producer on commercial projects with a focus on the LS Productions Manchester operation. Based on her extensive knowledge of Manchester as a hub for British production, Abi has since grown the LS Manchester team to 10, servicing shoots all over the UK and capitalising on the North West England’s reputation for sporting excellence, with shoots for Wieden + Kennedy and Nike featuring Cristiano Ronaldo, Prime Video x Pogba for Sid Lee and EA Sports - FIFA 2022 for Electronic Arts. She also achieved a personal career highlight in this time securing work with Hollywood director Steven Soderbergh, on Netflix’s The Laundromat and also Let Them All Talk featuring Meryl Streep for HBO Max.
In the meantime Barry Hughes will act as maternity cover for Abi in the role of head of commercial, bringing his extensive experience to further strengthen LS’s commercial offering. With over 25 years industry experience running Therapy Films, as well as setting up Stable TV, Barry has produced campaigns for multinational clients including Nike, Coca-Cola, BMW, SAAB, VW, Halifax BS and Mars and has Cannes, Clio, BTAA, D&AD, Creative Circle awards to his name.

This news comes off the back of an impressive June for LS Productions, with rankings in the FEBE Growth 100 and Sunday Times fastest Growing Companies 2023 at positions five and 88 respectively, as well as succession of other recent appointments, including Angus Fletcher, as Executive Producer overseeing the development of LS Productions global TV & Film production services. Angus is a BAFTA-winning, cross-genre film and television creator, producer and executive producer. With over 30-years experience, past roles have included president of Jim Henson Television, Europe and Co-President of Jim Henson Television, Worldwide. Angus will look to focus on bringing high profile global TV and film projects to both the UK and LS’s warm water production facility in Malta, with recent work including Ghosted (Skydance / Apple TV), episodes of the Bachelor (NZK Productions / Warner Bros Entertainment / ABC) and a Kind of Spark (9Story / CBBC / BYUtv America).
