Jerrod Blandino has let it be known that “makeup is...an instant mood booster, a best friend, [and] a powerful ally.” His wild sense of humor and more-is-more style has made Too Faced one of the most popular and cutting edge cosmetics companies today.
With some help from Los Angeles-based creative agency Standard Time, Too Faced has taken their mission to its climax with a new spot for a mascara that is “Better Than Sex.” The tongue-in-cheek spot, starring the enormously talented style guru Jeannie Mai (host of Style Network’s How Do I Look and “Fashion Tips Today” on NBC’s Today Show) launched today.
In the video, Standard Time makes the case for eyelashes as the new erogenous zone. From the moment Jeannie Mai opens her tube of “Better Than Sex,” her mascara seduces her with a deep sultry voice. Together, they enjoy a rapturous experience she will not soon forget. Rest assured that applying makeup has never been this satisfying.
This video continues the strategic branding and design partnership formed by Too Faced and Standard Time that recently produced a vibrant new website, and a company-first brand guide.
