Milo Braynov holds a master's degree in psychology and business administration from Sofia University. He started in the industry in 2010 as a location manager for the biggest Bulgarian series to date - "Undercover". Milo later joined a leading production company as a production manager, specialising in commercials. He joined MatchPoint Productions in 2014, a few months after the launch of the company, where he has since been a partner and producer.
Valeria Stoykova holds a master’s degree in film, theatre and art from the National Film Academy. After graduating, she directed and managed theatre projects, and in 2004, she was introduced to the movie world. Valeria executed productions of feature films in one of the leading U.S. production companies operated in Bulgaria. After a few years of filmmaking, she headed the advertising department at a local company and started producing TV commercials for notable local and international clients.
In 2014, Valeria founded MatchPoint Production, where she has been a partner and producer ever since. With over 20 years of professional experience in the movie and advertising industry, she has produced dozens of films and hundreds of commercials for local and international markets.

Winters bring snow, perfect for capturing winter scenes, while summers are warm but not overly hot, providing comfortable conditions for outdoor shoots. Spring and autumn offer mild temperatures and beautiful landscapes, making them equally attractive for filming. MatchPoint> No visas for EU citizens and no specific working permits for EU citizens.
LBB> What have been your biggest/most successful production in Bulgaria to date?
MatchPoint> One of the most successful productions in Bulgaria to date has been the long-term partnership as the main production subcontractor for the German supermarket brand Lidl. For five years, we have supported their campaigns from the moment they entered the Bulgarian market, contributing to the success of numerous commercials and marketing efforts.
LBB> Any DOs and DON’Ts in Bulgaria?
MatchPoint> In Bulgaria, there are no specific cultural "don’ts" that visitors or film crews need to be particularly mindful of. The official religion is Christian Orthodox, but the country is multicultural, especially in the capital and larger cities. Small towns and villages tend to be more traditional in their customs and lifestyle.

MatchPoint> Generally the centre of the city is best for staying and going out. Best hotels are Hyatt, Grand Hotel Sofia, Intercontinental.
LBB> Any other tourist recommendations?
MatchPoint> If you have time, Vitosha mountain is right next to the city. The peak ‘’Cherni Vruh’’ 2300m., is a 45 minute drive and 1 hour easy hike away, providing magnificent views.
