Lemonade Reps hosted a truly special event on the 26th of March (Wednesday) at All Is Joy Studios —The Female Lens, a celebration of female filmmakers and their incredible work. Featuring four talented female directors, the evening showcased powerful, thought-provoking short films and sparked insightful conversations about the challenges and triumphs women face in the world of film and beyond.
The films screened included Tailing by Lauren Midwinter, a bold exploration of street harassment; A Dark Moment of Faith by Zornitsa Dimitrova, which delves into grief and unexpected hope; Waves by Jessie Ayles, capturing the emotional toll of gender-based violence; and Mama by Denise Moreno, a poignant reflection on the impact of breast cancer on young women.
The screening was followed by an inspiring panel talk with the amazing Tina Mwazange from BBH.
