Can you imagine a work meeting with every resident of a place? This concept was Shannon's inspiration for the new commercial for Banco Provincia, produced by LANDIA and presented by La América.
Banco Provincia stands out for its commitment to transparency and for including all residents of Buenos Aires as its shareholders. The campaign unveils the platform 17millones.com.ar, where each client can consult the actions carried out by the bank.
“I was inspired by the Coen Brothers, William Eggleston, and Stephen Shore for the creative and visual treatment. The more chaotic end is a ‘Felliniesque’ portrait of the absurdity that represents having such a long table with so many people.” said Shannon.
Given that each resident of Buenos Aires is considered a shareholder of the bank, convening everyone would be monumental.
“We built a fifty-metre table and had dozens of extras. Representing people from different cities and professions was a whole logistic effort, and one of the big challenges was to reflect that the meeting happens simultaneously in different places.” said Shannon.
The film stands out for its originality and the characteristic Argentine humour. It starts as a typical meeting and integrates more neighbours from different points of the province, concluding with the reflection that a consultation web is much more practical than coordinating a massive meeting. Luckily, they had enough chairs and cups for everyone.
