KIA and the Montreal Alouettes Announce Multiyear Partnership

INNOCEAN Canada is proud to announce that it has successfully negotiated a three-year partnership agreement between the Kia Dealerships of Montreal and the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League for Kia to become the official automotive partner of the seven-time Grey Cup Champions.

“The Montreal Alouettes are a historic franchise that has been a staple of the community for over 80 years”, said Kia marketing manager Madison Don. “We’re excited with the new direction of the Alouettes and for Kia to be a partner with the team’s new ownership. To combine our efforts with a focus on innovating their fans’ gameday experience for such a beloved team is an amazing opportunity.”

“Kia’s brand is focused on innovation and movement that inspires and the Alouettes have been an inspirational source of pride to the region for many years”, said INNOCEAN Canada VP, group account director Mylene Savoie. “We’re thrilled that Kia will be a key part of every Alouettes home game further connecting two amazing brands.”

As part of the agreement, Kia will be a crucial fixture of the games at Percival Molson Stadium. Kia will have dedicated screen time on the jumbotron, a prominent vehicle display at the stadium’s entrance, digital banners, radio ads, and opportunities for branded content creation with the team’s players.

The chance for Kia to be involved with a historic franchise with deep roots in the Montreal community is one that both brands hope to capitalise on moving forward.
