Five more jurors have been announced for The Immortal Awards 2020.
Juan Carlos Ortiz, president and CEO of DDB Latina, will join the Latam jury alongside Claudio Lima, chief creative officer of Cheil Worldwide Brazil.
The European jury has also been bolstered by three new additions, including Mother London’s executive creative director Ana Balarin, FCB Inferno’s chief creative officer Owen Lee and Gary Szabo, CEO of Smoke & Mirrors.
They join those who were unveiled in the initial announcement, including Fernando Machado, global chief marketing officer for Restaurant Brands International, Liz Taylor, global chief creative officer of Leo Burnett, Per Pedersen, global creative chairman, and Amy Carvajal, chief creative officer of Code and Theory.
Also revealed were Toby Allen, deputy executive creative director of AMV BBDO, Cheil Worldwide’s global chief creative officer, Malcolm Poynton, global chief creative officer of Publicis Worldwide, Bruno Bertelli, founder of international production company Great Guns, Laura Gregory, regional head of strategy, FP7 McCann, Tahaab Rais and Jose Miguel Sokoloff, president of MullenLowe Group Creative Council and chief creative officer, MullenLowe Group UK.
With this year’s competition expanding globally, each regional competition - LATAM, North America, Europe, MEA and Asia Pacific - will have its own dedicated jury.
A hand-picked grand jury, composed of jurors from each regional jury and will decide which projects will receive an Immortal statue in November, will be revealed later in the summer.
