Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) continues to strengthen its Latin American region by adding top talent. Recognising that strategic planning is an indispensable pillar in the construction and positioning of brands, DAN Latam has hired Jonathan Scarpetta as chief strategy officer.
Jonathan, who has extensive experience in strategy, media and marketing, joins the regional team, with hub in Mexico, with the goal of enhancing DAN’s strategic media planning offering for the specialised agencies within DAN. In addition, he will work together with the presidents of these agencies to take advantage of the CCS and Navegg tools within the groups as well as explore the use of other tools and data available.
Jonathan, who will report to Mauricio Sabogal, chairman DAN media and president of Amplifi Latin America, joined the group after leading communications strategy at PepsiCo beverages in Mexico (GEPP). He also worked on leading brands in different regions such as ExxonMobil, Holcim, L’Oréal, Daimler, SC Johnson, Clorox, Unilever, Henkel, Huawei, LG, Sony y Coca-Cola, among others.
