Renowned music audio shop Elias has brought Jocelyn Brown on board the award-winning team as their newest Producer. The multi-talented Brown is a music supervisor, producer, DJ, writer, and conduit who has championed independent music on a professional level since 1998.
The Pensacola, Florida native began her career with a five-year stint as a disc jockey at WVFS Tallhassee. In 2003 she moved to Chicago, working for such labels as Chocolate Industries and Hefty Records. In 2011, Brown joined DDB Chicago, serving as an Associate Music Producer. During her time at DDB, Brown completed projects for clients such as McDonald’s, Capital One, State Farm, Morton Salt, Emerson, Mars Wrigley, and Safeway. She has performed as DJ Clerical Error in such esteemed Chicago venues as The Charlston, Danny’s Tavern, Empty Bottle, Beauty Bar, and Sonotheque. Remarking on her new position, Brown comments, “I couldn’t be more excited to be in NYC as a part of the exciting, ever-growing Elias story.”
