Seattle-based advertising agency Wexley School for Girls is pleased to announce that Jerry Barnhart has joined the company as the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Barnhart worked at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners where he held many positions including CFO and COO.
“This is one of our most critical hires in the history of Wexley, if not the world,” says Cal McAllister, CEO at Wexley. “It’s time to run our business a little differently than we did our free checking accounts in college. It was also critical we hire someone with a focus on creativity, and Jerry helped run some of the most creatively legendary companies in our industry. We’re thrilled to have him.”
Barnhart comes to Wexley with over 30 years of experience in financial and operating management for creative advertising agencies, including stints at Hal Riney & Partners, TBWA Chiat/Day and J. Walter Thompson.
“The Creative and strategic firepower of Wexley is incredible,” says Barnhart. “It will be a big challenge for me to help nurture the finances up to that same level of excellence.”
