Jeff Marois is joining Allen & Gerritsen (A&G) in the new role of VP, creative where he will work across key agency accounts. He was most recently ACD at Terri & Sandy.
In this new role, Jeff will oversee several top creative accounts including Meet Boston, as well as regularly work with the business development team on RFPs. Jeff will report to A&G’s chief creative officer Jennifer Putnam.
“Jeff is an immediate breath of fresh air for the agency,” says Jennifer. “I loved our early conversations about his passion for outside-the-box creative ideas, coupled with his passion to always do right by the client. He will undoubtedly help us take our work to the next level.”
A boomerang to A&G, Jeff originally joined the agency in 2012 as a copywriter. In 2014, he moved to Sleek Machine, where he worked with brands like Primark, Indeed, Century 21 and the Boston Celtics. In the past seven years, he also spent time at RPA and MMB before his most recent role as ACD at Terri & Sandy, where he worked on Sennheiser, Icy Hot and Plezi. His work has been recognised in Communication Arts, Art Directors’ Club, Luerzer’s Archive, Hatch Awards, Radio Mercury Awards, MM+M Awards, Adweek, Ad Age, and Muse By Clio.
“I’m excited to be back at A&G and working with Jen,” says Jeff. “As a creative, I love to constantly be making, and that’s what’s happening at the agency - we’re making lots of great work. For example, Meet Boston is an awesome brand platform with a lot of potential that I’m pumped to be taking a lead on.”
Jeff led the creative on the agency’s recent work for Meet Boston - the Meet Boston Music Fest. The one-day event in Atlanta was designed to attract Atlanta residents to visit Boston in a big departure from traditional travel/tourism ad campaigns. The festival took place on September 6th and brought Boston-originated rock band Guster to 1600+ attendees, giving them a taste of what awaits just one short, direct flight away in Boston.
