Jean-Marie Pivard, 47, is appointed Director of Internal Audit and Risk Management of Publicis Groupe. He will also be responsible for the supervision of Internal Control. He will report directly to Anne-Gabrielle Heilbronner, Senior Vice President and General Secretary of Publicis Groupe.
Anne-Gabrielle Heilbronner declared: "I am delighted that Jean-Marie Pivard is joining the Publicis Groupe team. His international experience in audit will be of precious value to us at a historical period for the Groupe. I wish him well in his new responsibilities."
Having graduated from ESCP with a DEC (Diplôme d’Expertise Comptable), in addition to the CIA diploma (Certified Internal Auditor) and CRMA(Certification in Risk Management), he began his career at Ernst & Young. There he acquired a truly considerable experience in auditing (1990-2004) both in France and abroad. In 2004, he integrated Groupe Lafarge as Corporate Deputy Vice President of Internal Audit. From 2006 until his debut at Publicis Groupe, Jean-Marie Pivard was Corporate Vice President of Internal Audit for Nexans Group.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the French Institute of Internal Auditors (IFACI).
