Irina Marinova has been appointed as Managing Director of creative agency Publicis, a part of Publicis One in Bulgaria. With more than 12 years of experience in the communications industry, Marinova has developed strategies for international as well as local companies and brands across non-government organisations, start-ups, retail companies, FMCG, amongst others. Having worked at both Publicis Dialog and Saatchi & Saatchi earlier, this appointment marks a return for Marinova to Publicis One. Most recently with Ogilvy & Mather where she led the client management, strategy and planning teams, Marinova has also worked at Huts JWT.
“Irina is a proven professional and an outstanding specialist in the area of brands’ strategic development. Over the years, Irina has gathered valuable experience and is now joining the team with the ambition of contributing to the successful transformation of our clients’ businesses,” said Nikolai Nedelchev, CEO of Publicis One Bulgaria.
Speaking about her appointment, Marinova said, “I am coming back to a well-known place with the aim of creating work which add real value, transform the dynamic social environment and most importantly – respond to the long-term strategic and business requirements of our partners and clients.”
Marinova holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Studies and a Master’s Degree in Journalism at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohrodski”. In 2015, Marinova also completed a Master’s Degree in Information Management with a specialization in ‘‘Marketing Intelligence” at NOVA IMS university in Lisbon.
