"Hola" from Taco Bell

Taco Bell’s Cool Ranch Doritos Loco Taco launch was, apparently, one of the most anticipated food debuts in recent memory. That’s why Deutsch LA are thrilled to help get the launch rolling with a new teaser commercial, “Hola.”

The commercial, features a song that should sound familiar: a Spanish version of Lionel Richie’s “Hello”…called “Hola,” plays out over footage of  a man sitting at a wet bus stop, trying to combine his greatest food loves; a Taco Bell taco with Cool Ranch Doritos. Just when he’s begun to despair, he sees a sign that gives him hope.

 

The commercial was directed by Zach Math and created by the same team who made Taco Bell’s “Viva Young” and “Grande Papi.”
