The Immortal Awards returned home to London on Thursday 30th January, kicking off this year’s global showcase tour at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho.
The night, which was supported by Clearcast Delivery, saw the debut screening of the 2024 winners reel which included the four Immortal and 11 Commendation winning projects.
Leading names from across the brand, agency and craft worlds were in attendance to celebrate the winning work and watch a number of winners pick up their prizes.
On the night, six of the winning projects had winners and representatives in attendance.
There were six Commendations handed out, with BETC Paris receiving a prize for CANAL+’s 'Super'; VML collecting two awards for Coca-Cola’s 'Thanks for Coke-Creating' and Telefonica Movistar’s 'This Is Not a Game'; Laconic picking up their prize for CoorDown’s 'Assume That I Can'; FCB collecting on behalf of the Chicago office for Dramamine’s 'The Last Barf Bag'; and Stink receiving a Commendation for Reporters Without Borders’ 'The First Speech'.
There were also entrants involved in two of this year’s four Immortal winners in attendance on the night, including Somesuch who picked up their prize for Sydney Opera House’s 'Play it Safe', and Mars Pet Nutrition, BBDO and Nexus Studios who were behind Pedigree’s 'Adoptable' project.
Paul Monan, awards director at The Immortal Awards, says, “Our London showcase is a night of celebration, centred around a whistle stop tour of the world’s best commercial creativity and is an evening we look forward to every year. Our audience was the first to see our 2024 winners reel, which we will now take on the road and screen in front of as many as we possibly can in the next few months. A huge thanks to all of our partners for their support, and in particular the team at Clearcast Delivery who sponsored the event and made it all happen.”
The Immortal Awards team will now embark on a global showcase tour, with locations and dates to be revealed over the coming months. The call for entries for this year’s competition will also be announced via Little Black Book soon.
