Heineken® spotlights Irish talent and designers at this year’s Electric Picnic and puts festival goers front and centre

Electric Picnic is returning to Stradbally this August and it’s set to be bigger than ever, with 75,000 festival goers expected to attend over the weekend. Heineken Ireland is a key partner of the festival again for 2024 and this year it’s bringing its global stage Heineken House to Ireland for the first time ever. After huge success at festivals around the world, Heineken House will be coming to Electric Picnic with its own unique and bespoke Irish build, never seen anywhere else before. This unique festival stage puts attendees at the centre of the action, with elevated areas, an immersive DJ experience and raised dance platforms. Production will elevate this unique build with stunning visual and lighting design, creating a spectacle that is a must see this Electric Picnic.

Bringing something completely different to the festival this year, Heineken has created an exclusive merch collab in partnership with Irish streetwear designers, Emporium. Heineken x Emporium will be dropping a collection of limited edition tees taking nostalgic cues from Heineken's heritage, with a retro look and feel. The tees will be available to pick up complimentary at Heineken House during a surprise and delight activation on a first come, first served basis. Emporium founders Charlie Proctor Quigley and Robbie Fidgeron Kavanagh worked closely with Heineken to create a design unique and authentic to the two brands. These limited edition tees will be available to snap up at Heineken House at 2pm on Saturday. For those not lucky enough to secure a tee at Heineken House, there will be a small number of tees available at the Emporium Store on Drury Street post Electric Picnic.

Heineken is using its platform to champion Irish talent at Electric Picnic. Over the three days there will be a full line up of local talent including some crowd favourites from previous years as well as new and emerging names. There will be plenty of other exciting additions and surprises at Electric Picnic this year brought to you by Heineken including Cold Rooms. Back by popular demand for 2024, Heineken Cold Rooms allows festival goers to enjoy refreshing, chilled Heineken all weekend. Attendees can drop their Heineken cans into the Cold Rooms at the Andy Warhol campsite where they will be stored and kept refrigerated over the weekend.

Michelle Rowley, senior brand manager, Heineken Ireland said, "We’re so excited to be debuting Heineken® House in Ireland for the first time ever. And where better to showcase our new stage than at the hotly anticipated Electric Picnic 2024. Our aim is to keep festival goers front and centre, making sure we’re giving them an elevated experience year on year. By following global trends and demands, we know that festival goers want to be part of the action, not just spectators and Heineken House really facilitates this. We are continuing our commitment to supporting local talent and the line up really reflects that commitment with some incredible acts to look forward to. Continuing on that theme of supporting local, our partnership with Irish streetwear designer Emporium is something fresh and new this year. The collaboration has resulted in something really slick that’s authentic to both brands. Don’t miss the Heineken House experience this year at Electric Picnic!"
