Leading global healthcare communications agency, Havas Lynx Group, has been named in the 2023 UK’s Best Workplaces for Women list by Great Place to Work UK.
It was ranked 41st on the list, which was based on the anonymous feedback from over 70,000 women working across the UK.
Havas Lynx Group consistently commits investment in ensuring a diverse, inclusive, and supportive environment. It is a proud ally of women in business and in testament to that currently 50% of its leadership team and 41% of its executive leaders are women, including a female CEO.
Havas Lynx Group has been at the forefront in the implementation of initiatives and policies to cultivate an equitable environment including progressive policies around Family leave, Time Off for Fertility Appointments, Pregnancy Loss, and Menopause.
As part of its leading enhanced maternity package, employees returning to work after giving birth can request to temporarily reduce their working week by one day with no impact to salary for 12 months.
Earlier this year, Havas Lynx Group was also named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work UK. It was the first time the agency had entered the awards and the first time it has been recognised.
Claire Knapp, Havas Lynx Group CEO, said, “On a personal level, it is incredibly important to me that we nurture an environment that allows everyone to show up as their authentic, best self. So, to be recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women, is something we’re phenomenally proud of and fundamental to what we’re all about. We have actively been investing and implementing in policies to support gender equality, diversity and inclusivity within the business, and we’ll continue to do so – this is just one step on our journey as we learn and build towards creating an even more progressive workplace. We already have a few ideas for what we’ll do next.
“The strength of our ideas and our ability to produce impact that matters has always and will always be driven by our ability to bring together perspectives and different lived experiences – that’s only possible if all our people have the equality, confidence and support needed to thrive.”
Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place to Work UK, said, “We’re delighted to announce our 2023 collection of the Best Workplaces for Women for the sixth consecutive year. This list celebrates the workplaces that are not just providing a great work environment for all but are ensuring they’re creating a positive and supportive environment for women too. Each of the companies on our list have been commended by their own female employees who have anonymously told us their workplace has gone above and beyond to ensure that women employees are treated fairly in terms of recognition, training, and promotion opportunities. Ensuring people aren’t discriminated against, placing positive value on our differences, creating fair access and advancement for all, and fostering a sense of value and empowerment in employees is what being a Great Place to Work is all about. It is fantastic to once again celebrate so many Best Workplaces for Women this year, across all sectors and organisational sizes.”
Havas Lynx Group has grown from a small creative agency formed in the Northern Quarter of Manchester into a global communications powerhouse, offering creative, media, CX and data excellence within the healthcare and clinical trial industry.
