Catherine joins following seven years at fellow Havas agency Uncommon Creative Studio, where she was global CMO

Creative agency Havas London has appointed Catherine Peacock as chief client officer, effective immediately. She joins the King’s Cross-based agency, after a short sabbatical, from sister Havas shop Uncommon Creative Studio, where she spent seven years – most recently as global chief marketing officer.

Working alongside Havas London chief creative officer Vicki Maguire, chief strategy officer Matt Springate, and chief design officer Lorenzo Fruzza, Catherine will cultivate meaningful relationships with the agency’s most senior client partners, driving Havas’ – and its clients’ – creative agenda, performance and evolution. She will also play a central role in securing new business, building on the momentum of major recent wins including Nomad Foods’ €75m pan-European creative account, Asahi Super Dry’s global creative account, and another significant, yet-to-be-announced piece of UK business.

Catherine Peacock, chief client officer at Havas London says, “I am so excited to be joining a winning team which instinctively recognises and embodies the magic formula for success. We’ll chase down creative excellence, fame, fortune, noise, high standards and a fast, modern pace of delivery – but never at the cost of empathetic leadership that champions and celebrates our talent. Alongside partners which share those values, I think that makes us unstoppable.”

Vicki Maguire, chief creative officer at Havas London says, “Culture-busting creative ideas are one thing, bringing them to life is another – and Catherine’s a master. Just look at some of the stuff she’s managed to pull off. Energy off the charts. She’s a creative’s dream, a fire-starter, client catnip, and a CMO’s secret weapon. Our people are going to love her, and so will our clients.”

Catherine joined Uncommon Creative Studio in 2017, shortly after its launch by founders Natalie Graeme, Lucy Jameson and Nils Leonard, and helped establish its account management function. As managing partner and head of account management, she led several of its key relationships – including first major client Ovo Energy, The Guardian, B&Q, Quaker and ITV. For the latter, she oversaw the creation of its landmark mental wellness campaign ‘Britain Get Talking’, which runs to this day.

In 2023, she became the agency’s first Global CMO, responsible for driving all new business activity. This remit also spanned the agency’s international expansion, with Catherine helping to establish its first US Studio in New York and securing its first major client, SiriusXM.

The agency won several major accolades during Catherine’s spell, including Contagious’ Agency of the Year (2020); Campaign’s Independent Agency of the Year (2019, 2021) and Creative Agency of the Year (2020, 2021); Campaign Big Awards’ Agency of the Year (2020); and Ad Age’s International Agency of the Year (2023).

Prior to joining Uncommon, Catherine forged her career at agencies including The Brooklyn Brothers (where she worked with Havas London chief strategy officer Matt Springate), CHI&Partners and Anomaly North America, across clients such as AB InBev, The Hershey Company, Arla Foods, Jaguar Land Rover, and Lexus International – on which she led the world-famous, Cannes Gold Lion-winning ‘Lexus Hoverboard’ campaign.
